Marie Sandell

Marie Sandell

Secretary for Pastoral Care

Marie has been a member of United since April 1961, at the time she was baptized and confirmed. As Secretary for Pastoral Care, she maintains the church database, which includes information about all members. She contacts all prospective members to facilitate their membership.

Marie helps with the various activities of the church office, including newsletters, bulletins, mailings, staff meetings and devotions, etc. She trains and schedules acolytes and coordinates the Activity Bag ministry. This is her second time on the church staff. In 2005, Marie feels God was leading her back to United’s staff with her unexpected retirement from full-time work. She is blessed that her family of two daughters and families, including five grandchildren, are all in Lincoln and active at United.
