The purpose of the Christian Outreach Ministry is to seek to “Make Christ Known” by sharing his love and compassion through service to others in need, especially the most vulnerable among us, by challenging people to live lives of Christian service and by advocating for peace, justice, and reconciliation.
One of the main focuses of the Christian Outreach Ministry includes the Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center. It also serves as an instrument of education with regard to such current matters as immigration rights/advocacy, racism and white privilege, our community’s history of “redlining,” and the voices of LGBTQ+ individuals.
