Informed and grounded in the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Christian Youth Ministry is called to plan and provide for the congregation’s youth—elementary through high school aged—both opportunities for Christ-centered fellowship activities and acts of ministry.
Fundraising, planning, and attending the bi-annual ELCA Youth Gathering is also a focus of the Christian Youth Ministry.

Responsibilities—The education ministry team is centered around building the faith of young Responsibilities—The education ministry team is centered around building the faith of young people and families. The activities are related to development of understanding the Bible, growing in a relationship with God and forming friendships within the congregation. Weekly lessons help to establish and maintain a routine of attending worship, Sunday school and practicing daily prayer. Special activities include a Blessing of Bibles recognized at age 3, and then in 5th grade with first communion and celebrating graduation.
