The Christian Commitment Ministry is called to imagine and implement ways by which the people of United Lutheran Church may cultivate an atmosphere of gratitude for, and commitment to (through “time, talent, and financial resources”), the ministry of Jesus Christ both within and beyond the congregation. Ultimately, it is intended that the fruits of such an atmosphere of commitment will perpetually expand and deepen the “circle of Christian commitment” at United Lutheran.
Current Commitment Ministry long-term partnerships include: Lincoln City Mission, Food Bank of Lincoln, and Lincoln Public Schools Backpack Program.
It is desired that members of this ministry be willing to embody and witness the commitment of Christ’s ministry both within and beyond the congregation.
